Program Overview


Introduction to the Program

The School of Electronic and Information Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University is one of the earliest institutions in China to offer electronic information engineering programs. It is a key discipline at the national level and was selected as a "Double First-Class" discipline in 2017 and 2022.


Admission Requirements

  1. Direct Admission: Bachelor's degree from a top 100 university in the world, with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
  2. Joint Training: Completion of a master's degree program, with a strong research background.
  3. Special Programs: Bachelor's degree from a top university in China, with a GPA of 3.5 or above, and a strong research background.

Applicants must submit the following materials:


  • Personal Statement: A brief introduction to the applicant's academic and research background.
  • Transcripts: Official transcripts of the applicant's academic record.
  • Language Proficiency Certificate: IELTS, TOEFL, or PETS certificate.
  • Research Experience: Proof of research experience, such as publications or conference presentations.
  • Recommendation Letters: Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional supervisors.
