The Data Wise Coach Certification Australia program is designed to equip experienced educators with the skills to lead and coach others in using the Data Wise Improvement Process to build equitable schools. This blended program aims to help schools and school systems enhance their training capacity and implement data inquiry in a cost-effective and context-specific manner.

Program Details

• The program is open to individuals who have completed Data Wise: Educators Collaborating So Each Student Thrives and/or Data Wise in Action.
• Participants must have completed a Data Wise cycle in their own setting and have at least two years of experience working in K-12 schools or higher education, with experience in facilitating groups and analyzing multiple forms of data.
• The program focuses on developing six Data Wise coach competencies:
  • Share your “Why” and reflect on how it informs your coaching.
  • Support teams in using collaborative time well.
  • Support teams in working through adaptive challenges.
  • Collaborate to improve coaching practice.
  • Provide feedback on Data Wise artifacts.
  • Engage in ongoing improvement of knowledge and skill.
• Upon completing the program, participants become Certified Data Wise coaches, qualified to teach educators the Data Wise Improvement Process and coach teams through cycles of inquiry.
• As certified Data Wise coaches, participants join the Data Wise Coach Network (DWN), enjoying benefits such as being part of a community with a common purpose, problem-solving with peer experts, accessing up-to-date resources, and recognition as contributing members of a leading organization in the field of continuous improvement.

Tuition and Duration

• The tuition fee for the program is $8,250.00.
