Program Description

As noted in the most recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and as witnessed nearly every day around the world, the climate has changed and will continue to change for the worse, if we do not act now. Increased temperatures, extreme storms, flooding, drought, sea level rise and wildfires are becoming the norm and are now an essential consideration for all development. Whether you work in a community that is a driver of local climate action or not, there are opportunities for real estate development to be part of the solution by understanding the context and opportunities and actively seeking to collaboratively develop climate friendly policies with local agencies.
