The University of Connecticut's School of Business offers various programs in Business Law, including undergraduate and graduate degrees, minors, and concentrations. Undergraduate Programs

  • Social Responsibility and Impact in Business Minor: This minor is available to all students, except those majoring in Marketing, and focuses on identifying the environmental and human rights impacts of business, analyzing evolving expectations of business organizations, and leveraging legal and market drivers of sustainability.
  • Accelerated MS in Social Responsibility & Impact in Business: This 30-credit degree program is open to majors interested in socially responsible leadership in business, enabling undergraduate UConn students to complete a maximum of 12 credits that count toward both their undergraduate and M.S. degrees.

  • BLAW Course Offerings: The School of Business offers various courses in Business Law, including The Legal and Ethical Environment of Business, Real Estate Law, Corporate Social Impact and Responsibility, Sustainability, Markets, and Society, Business Solutions to Societal Challenges, Legal Aspects of Entrepreneurship, and International Business Law.
  • BADM Business Law Course Offerings: The School of Business also offers courses in Business Administration, including Business Law courses.

Pre-Law Study

The University of Connecticut does not offer a formal or designated major or course of study in Pre-Law. However, students interested in attending law school are well-served by the courses taught by the Business Law faculty, which are similar to a law school course curriculum.
