Advanced Cybersecurity Program

The Advanced Cybersecurity Program is offered by the Stanford School of Engineering. This program provides a comprehensive education in cybersecurity, focusing on the identification of potential risks, assessment of impact, and effective response. Participants will learn how to protect networks, build secure infrastructures, secure electronic assets, prevent attacks, ensure customer privacy, and protect organizational reputation.

Program Overview

The program is designed to address the growing need for cybersecurity professionals who can prevent and defend against common cybersecurity attacks. It covers research and best practices from leading Stanford faculty and cybersecurity professionals from companies such as Google, LinkedIn, Symantec, and LifeLock.

Program Objectives

• Develop solutions that protect information, data, and communications from unauthorized access, data corruption, and customer lifecycle disruption.
• Find vulnerabilities in organizations and design more secure systems with proven methods.
• Prevent and defend against common cybersecurity attacks.
• Apply principles of secure coding to find and mitigate vulnerabilities in first-party and third-party code.
• Practice key organizational management techniques to protect data across all applications and platforms, including identity, access management, and cloud environments.
• Create company policies that follow regulatory compliance and protect customer data.

• Using Cryptography Correctly (XACS130)
• Writing Secure Code (XACS131)
• Exploiting and Protecting Web Applications (XACS133)
• AI Security (XACS134)
• Cloud Security (XACS235)
• Network Security (XACS255)

Each course is 100% online and on-demand, with varying time commitments ranging from 6 to 12 hours per course.

Enrollment Options

• Individual Courses: Pay as you go, with each course costing $545. Participants have 60 days to complete the course.
• All-Access Plan: One-year access to all courses in the program for $2,725, with an interest-free payment option.
• Groups and Teams: Special pricing for groups, with options tailored to meet specific training and development goals.

Certificate of Achievement

Upon successfully completing 5 courses, participants will earn a Stanford Certificate of Achievement in Advanced Cybersecurity. This certificate represents a minimum of 60 hours of Stanford coursework and includes learning outcomes assessment.
