The Advanced Residency Training at Stanford (ARTS) Program is designed to prepare physician-scientists for a career that combines basic science research with residency or clinical fellowship training. The program offers rigorous scientific training to young academicians, with the goal of fostering development of physicians with comprehensive scientific training.
Program Overview
The ARTS Program is led by Program Director Dean W. Felsher, MD, PhD, who is also a Professor of Medicine-Oncology and Pathology, Director of Oncology Research, Director of Translational Research and Applied Medicine, Director of Admissions Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP), and Co-Director Cancer Translational Nanotechnology Training.
