Master of Advanced Studies in Wireless Embedded Systems

The Master of Advanced Studies in Wireless Embedded Systems (MAS-WES) is a two-year program designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in wireless embedded systems. The program is offered by the Jacob's School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego.

  4. The (MAS-WES) (Year 1 of 2) California and Non-California Resident Basic Budget Total is $75,411.

  6. The COA above is based on a student living off-campus.
  7. (MAS-WES) new students entering Fall 2025 pay $1,145 per credit unit.

Financial Assistance Information

  • Students may submit a Special Circumstance-Cost of Attendance Appeal with appropriate documentation for rent and utilities, transportation costs, computer purchases and/or increased books and supplies.
  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized and Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loans require the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Students who are unable to complete the FAFSA and/or California Dream Act Application or who are enrolled in less than half-time (6 units), may be able to apply for a private loan.
