Communication Sciences and Disorders

Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) is a comprehensive program of study for preparing students who want to become speech-language pathologists (SLPs) or audiologists. The program helps students acquire a strong foundation in the basic sciences and processes related to typical, delayed and disordered speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and hearing.


Speech-Language Pathology (M.S.)

The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in speech-language pathology (residential) at Penn State Harrisburg is an Applicant for Candidacy by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.


Program Details

  • Total Minimum Credits: 57 plus the option of another 3 credits in either the Medical or School concentration.
