Accelerated B.S. in Management/M.B.A. (IUG)
The Accelerated B.S. in Management/M.B.A. (IUG) program at Penn State Harrisburg combines the Management B.S. and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees. This Integrated Undergraduate/Graduate (IUG) degree program offers high-achieving students the opportunity to earn both degrees in just five years, through a streamlined, continuous course of study. Up to 12 credits may be double-counted towards the degree requirements for both the graduate and undergraduate degrees.
Degree Requirements
Students in the Integrated Undergraduate-Graduate (IUG) program must fulfill all requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Management and Master of Business Administration in order to be awarded both degrees. The double-counting of credits is subject to the following conditions:
- Up to 12 credits may be double-counted towards the degree requirements for both the graduate and undergraduate degrees.
- All courses counted for both degrees must be at the 500- or 800-level.
- Credits associated with the culminating experience for the graduate degree cannot be double-counted.
The MBA courses that could possibly be double-counted include:

- MNGMT 514 Organizational Innovation and New Venture Development (3)
- MNGMT 515 Labor Management Relations (3)
- MNGMT 520 Organizational Transformation (3)
- MNGMT 570 Leadership Development (3)
- MRKT 514 Strategic Marketing (3)
- MRKT 570 Marketing Strategy and Planning (3)
If students admitted to the IUG program are unable to complete the requirements for the Master of Business Administration degree, they will be permitted to receive the Bachelor of Science in Management degree, assuming all undergraduate degree requirements have been satisfactorily completed.
