Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Labor and Human Resources is a 100% online program that is SHRM-aligned, making it an ideal choice for those preparing for professional certification. The program focuses on the critical content areas outlined in SHRM's HR Curriculum Guidebook, ensuring that students can gain the core competencies to tackle today's most pressing workplace challenges.
Program Details
- The program requires a minimum of 123 credits.
- Students must receive a grade of C or better in all courses required for the major.

Career Opportunities
The program prepares students for various roles in human resources, recruitment, placement management, compensation and benefits, and other labor environments. Graduates may also pursue a master's or doctoral degree.
Tuition and Financial Aid
- Undergraduate tuition is calculated based on the number of credits for which you register and the number of total credits you have accrued at or transferred to Penn State.
- Tuition rates for the 2025-26 academic year:
- If you have 59 or fewer credits: $638 per credit
- If you have 60 or more credits: $685 per credit
- Financial aid and military benefits are available.

Faculty
