The Master of Professional Studies in Nutritional Sciences is designed to enhance leadership skills and prepare students for evidence-based advanced practice in the field of nutrition. This online program offers a strong foundation in evidence-based advanced practice, with a focus on leadership in various nutrition practice settings.

Program Details

• The program requires 30-39 credits, with an optional Experiential Track that includes supervised experiential learning for RDN eligibility.
• The Experiential Track is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) and integrates advanced-level online graduate course work with three semesters of supervised experiential learning.
• The program includes a meaningful capstone project, where students identify an issue or problem in their work setting and produce and implement an evidence-based solution.

Admission Requirements

• A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a tertiary degree deemed comparable to a four-year bachelor's degree.
• A minimum grade-point average of 3.00.
• Prerequisite undergraduate courses, including organic chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, introductory nutrition, and advanced nutrition.
• GRE scores are not required for admission.
