Program Overview
Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Program
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) program provides basic and limited advanced emergency care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This individual will function as part of a comprehensive EMS response team. Under medical oversight, the A-EMT will perform interventions with the basic and advanced equipment typically found on an ambulance. The A-EMT is a link from the scene to the emergency health care system.
Program Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be a Pennsylvania State Certified Emergency Medical Technician to enroll in this course
Program Details
- Date: January 26 to June 8, 2026
- Hybrid Program: All course work and exams completed online
- Zoom orientations: January 6 and 20, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- In-person orientation: January 26, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- In-person lab sessions every Monday, starting February 2, 2026 from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. at:

Program Fees
- Application Fee: $350.00
- Course fee: $1,350.00
- Payment options and registration: Course fee does not include textbook. Optional hard copy of textbook can be purchased.
