Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Computer Science major, students must meet the following requirements:
- Have earned a C or better in each of the following courses: MATH 140, MATH 141, CMPSC 121, and CMPSC 122
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
Transfer Students
Transfer students can be admitted to the Computer Science program by fulfilling the following requirements:
- Attempted at least 18 credits from a regionally accredited college/university
- Earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Completed trigonometry, pre-calculus, or calculus in college or high school
