Program Overview
Degree Program Details
The York Dual/Joint Degree Program offers an A.A.S. in Nursing (QCC) leading to the B.S. in Nursing (York College/CUNY).
Admission Requirements
Admission to the program is extremely competitive and will be based on the student's GPA and overall academic work. A student must receive a faculty recommendation indicating a strong clinical performance in NU-101, NU-102, or NU-201.

- Overall GPA: 3.0
- Course grade: C+
Degree Maps
The program offers two degree maps:
- A.A.S. in Nursing with Developmental Placement
- A.A.S. in Nursing No Developmental Placement
Student Learning Outcomes for Academic Programs
Upon completion of the program, the graduate will:
- Demonstrate professional and ethical behaviors consistent with the standards of practice and regulatory frameworks of the registered professional nurse.
- Provide safe, effective, and competent nursing care.
- Assess patients in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Provide patient-centered nursing care.
- Participate in collaborative relationships with members of the interdisciplinary team, the patient, and the patient's support persons.
