Master of Social Work (MSW) Program

The Master of Social Work (MSW) Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in social work.

Program Details

• The program includes a Plan of Study, NASW Code of Ethics, CSWE, Practicum Education, and MSW Information Session.
• The program also offers Fellowships, Scholarships, and Financial Aid to support students.
• Support Services and Learning Resources are available to students, including Tuition and Fees information.
• The MSW Leadership Club provides opportunities for students to engage with the community.

Tuition and Fees

• Tuition and fees are subject to change by action of the Board of Trustees of the City University of New York at any time.
• In the event of any increase in the tuition or fees, payments already made will be treated as partial payment.
• Notification will be given for additional amounts due and the required date of payment.

Fee Structure

• Application Fee: $75 for scholars applying for graduate admissions, and $45 for SocialWorkCAS flat fee.
• Association, Consolidated, Technology, and University Student Government Fees: $213.60 for full-time students.
• Commitment Fee: $250.00 for full-time students, which will be credited to the first semester’s bill.
• Licensing Prep Fee: $18 per advanced seminar courses (fall and spring).
• Fingerprinting Fee: $150 if fingerprinting is required for practicum placement.

Masters in Social Work Tuition

• New York State Resident: $7,315 per semester for full-time students, and $620 per credit for part-time students.
• New York State Non-Residents: $1000 per credit.

Program Assessment

• The program includes MSW Program Assessment Meetings to evaluate student progress and program effectiveness.
