    • There are 4 steps in the application process:
      1. Sign up for an online account.
      2. Send official transcripts.
      3. Upload letters of recommendation.
      4. Upload your portfolio.
  • International Student Requirements

  • Submitting Your Portfolio
    • Prepare and submit all required Portfolio Materials via your Graduate Application Account.
    • Each portfolio should consist of:
      • Resume (Two pages) – The resume should highlight past creative experience and employment.
      • Personal Essay (500-700 words) – The essay should address personal objectives for graduate study and future career goals.
      • Sample of Writing (10 pages or less) – This may be an original screenplay, stage play, novel, short story, new media writing sample, etc.
      • Sample of Visual Expression (choose one): a. Video: no more than 10 minutes of visual work. b. Photographs (stills): no more than 15 stills on any subject, black and white or color. c. Additional Screenplay written in standard screenplay format (not to exceed 30 pages)

  • Fall 2026 applications will open in Fall 2025.
  • The priority application deadline for Fall 2026 is Feb. 1, 2026.
  • The final application deadline for Fall 2026 is July 15, 2026.
