Accelerated BSN Program

The Accelerated BSN program is a fast-track program designed for students with an undergraduate bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing. The program has start dates in either May or January and is perfect for students committed to becoming a nurse in just 12 months.

Program Details

• The curriculum includes a blend of clinical and classroom education to ensure that our Accelerated BSN students are ready for their NCLEX-RN examination and clinical practice in one year.
• Hands-on care is an integral part of our curriculum. Students work with a wide variety of over 200 clinical partners, including the University of Miami Health System, to provide outstanding clinical training and education to ensure unmatched patient care.

• 97.42% Overall first-time pass rate (2024) for SONHS baccalaureate nursing graduates who took the NCLEX-RN.
• Clinical Placements: Students work with a wide variety of over 200 clinical partners, including the University of Miami Health System, and the state of the art Simulation Hospital Advancing Research & Education (S.H.A.R.E.®).
