M.D./M.P.H. Application Process

Applications are made through the AMCAS system. After indicating your intention to apply to the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in AMCAS, a secondary application will be sent.

• The Secondary/Supplemental Application will provide the option to apply to:
  • M.D./M.P.H. program: The application will first be reviewed for M.D. admission, and if accepted, it will then be reviewed for the M.P.H. portion of the dual degree.
  • M.D. program only: The application will be reviewed solely for the M.D. program.

Criteria

The criteria for eligibility and academic prerequisites for the M.D./M.P.H. program are the same as those for the regular M.D. program.

Acceptance

An applicant must indicate their intent to pursue the M.D./M.P.H. program in accordance with timelines established in their acceptance letter to allow for a start by the end of June of their matriculating year.
