Master of Science in Sustainable Business
The Master of Science in Sustainable Business program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field of sustainable business. The program focuses on the development of sustainable business practices, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.
Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to the Master of Science in Sustainable Business program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A completed online application
- Application fee of $100
- Required essays
- A four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, from an accredited institution
- GPA requirements, if applicable
- Official academic transcripts from all academic institutions attended
- Foreign transcripts will require WES evaluation and translation
- While GMAT and GRE test results are not mandatory for master's programs, submitting an unofficial test score can be beneficial for securing the maximum merit-based scholarship
- TOEFL, IELTS, or the Duolingo English Test, if applicable
- A professional resume
- Interview
- Letters of Recommendation
Detailed Requirements
Online Application
The online application is the first step in the admission process. Applicants must create an account and submit their application through the application portal.
Essays
Essays are found within the online application. Every applicant has one similar essay and the second essay is program-specific.
Transcripts
Applicants must submit all documents related to transcripts through the application portal. Unofficial transcripts can be uploaded to expedite the application evaluation, but official transcripts are required.
GMAT/GRE Test Scores
While GMAT and GRE test results are not mandatory for master's programs, submitting an unofficial test score can be beneficial for securing the maximum merit-based scholarship. PhD programs require GMAT or GRE scores and do not consider waivers.
Language Proficiency Test Scores
Applicants who did not receive a high school diploma or bachelor's degree in the United States or a foreign country where English is not the primary language must submit a TOEFL score, IELTS score, or Duolingo English Test score.
Resume
Applicants must submit their required resume electronically within the application portal. The resume should include full-time employment, volunteer work, internships, part-time work, education, other skills, and hobbies.
Interview
Interviews are by invitation only and take place prior to the Admission Committee's final decision. Interviews provide an ideal opportunity to present a different view of credentials to the admissions committee.
Letters of Recommendation
Applicants' chosen recommenders must complete the recommendation forms associated with the online application. Miami Herbert will not accept any other format of recommendation.
