Program Overview


Radiology Residency Program

The Department of Radiology offers an ACGME accredited Radiology Residency Program, attracting residents from many parts of the country. The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) to fill 9 positions each year and 3 DR/IR positions each year for the combined program.


Program Structure

Jackson Memorial Hospital is the main teaching hospital for the department, which also provides clinical services at the University of Miami Hospital, University of Miami Hospitals & Clinics/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, The Applebaum MRI Center, and Lennar Medical Center. The department is well equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and several thousands of examinations are performed here each year.

Program Details

Our graduates are prepared for radiology practice in either academic or private settings. Upon graduation, our residents will be capable of providing medical care of a very high caliber and of conducting high-quality research.
