- Xiang Meng: Adjunct Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering
- Dr. Xiang Meng is a senior member of technical staff at SubCom, New Jersey, designing the long-haul coherent transoceanic networks. He is also an adjunct faculty of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, where he teaches graduate-level courses in Optics and Photonics.
- His current research focus on novel photonic component, system and network technologies to build energy-efficient, cost-effective, and high-capacity optical interconnects. He is also experienced with digital signal processing, coherent communications and the innovative process for electronic-photonic design automation (EPDA) industry using custom PDK and PDKs from diverse foundry processes.
