Introduction to the Psychiatry Residency Program

The Psychiatry Residency Program at Harlem Hospital Center, in affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, provides world-class behavioral health care services to the community. The program aims to train competent psychiatrists who are well-educated in all areas of psychiatry, leading them to board certification by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

• Residents will learn to provide various modalities of trauma-informed treatment, addiction treatment, treatment of comorbid medical problems, in addition to the breadth of treatments available in the field.
