Course Details

One of the courses offered is Architectural Daylighting, which covers topics such as daylight and health, energy and productivity, and architectural shading. The course is a Building Science & Technology Elective and is available to students in various programs, including the Master of Architecture and M.S. Advanced Architectural Design.


Course Description

The course provides instruction in both the technical requirements and spatial opportunities of natural light. Students will develop perceptual as well as technical daylighting acuities through related assignments and will build physical models to test and demonstrate an architectural daylighting phenomenon of their choosing.
