Program Requirements
Doctor of Musical Arts: Voice and Opera Performance
Prescreening is required, and videos should be in a full-length shot with accompaniment. The prescreening repertoire should represent different styles and historical periods.
Fall 2026 Audition Date
February 9
For Prescreening
Prescreening must contain 45 to 60 minutes of music. If reviewed favorably, the applicant will be invited to a final audition round.
For Final Audition
If invited, the applicant will perform for and interview with a music faculty jury. Candidates should prepare 30 minutes of music and submit their audition repertoire in advance. Auditions will be accompanied.
