DSGN 345: Computer-Aided Manufacturing
DSGN 345: Computer-Aided Manufacturing is a course that teaches students the basics of computer-aided manufacturing. The course covers various topics, including the NX manufacturing environment, machining operations for CNC milling, and the operation of CNC milling machines.

Description
The course teaches students the complete path from part design to manufacturing setup and g-code generation, to proper machine operation and part manufacturing. The teaching method includes 50% lecture and 50% software use.

The topics covered in the course are independent of any other course. The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of computer-aided manufacturing.
