Admission Information & Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the minimum academic requirements, which include a minimum overall average in the B+ range (76% at UBC). International applicants must provide results of an English language proficiency examination, such as TOEFL or IELTS, taken within the last 24 months.

Tuition & Financial Support

The program offers a minimum annual funding package of $30,000, which may consist of any combination of internal or external awards, teaching-related work, research assistantships, and graduate academic assistantships. Students may also be eligible for merit-based scholarships and awards, as well as need-based financial aid.
