Overview of the Métis Nation British Columbia Business Management Program

The Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) Business Management Program is a fully online entrepreneurship certificate program designed exclusively for MNBC citizens. Delivered in partnership with the UBC Sauder Spitz Centre for Indigenous Business Education and MNBC, this program blends foundational business education with Métis cultural perspectives to help participants launch or strengthen their business.

Program at a Glance

This online certificate program integrates leading-edge knowledge, practical entrepreneurial training, and Métis cultural contexts for a holistic learning experience. Participants learn key business topics taught by top-tier UBC Sauder faculty, receive one-on-one support, and create a business capstone project applicable to their business idea. Capstone presentations will combine all learned topics and be presented on the final day of class. A Métis Elder in Residence will also offer support, perspectives, and cultural teachings.
