Program Overview

Real Estate Division

The Real Estate Division offers various programs, including the Certificate in Real Property Assessment, Diploma in Urban Land Economics, and Bachelor of Business in Real Estate.

Real Property Assessment Program

The Real Property Assessment Program is designed for students who want to pursue a career in real property assessment. The program consists of several courses, including BUSI 121, BUSI 330, BUSI 443, and BUSI 444.

Students who enrolled prior to January 1, 2007

Students who enrolled in the Certificate in Real Property Assessment program prior to January 1, 2007, and who are still within their five-year time limit to complete the program, will have the BUSI 344 course requirement waived. However, students attempting BUSI 444 are still responsible for the material covered in BUSI 344 and are warned that BUSI 444 builds on BUSI 344 concepts.

Students who enrolled prior to January 1, 2001

The course numbers in the Certificate Program in Real Property Assessment changed in September 2001. The new course numbers for the first half of the program (formerly 611/811 and 621/821) are now BUSI 121 and BUSI 330. The course numbers for the second half of the program (formerly 631/831 and 641/841) are now BUSI 443 and BUSI 444.
