Diploma in Education – Special Education
The Diploma in Education – Special Education offers a range of courses that allow students to specialize in various areas within the field of Special Education. The coursework is designed to be flexible, permitting students to tailor their work to the current needs of school districts or other professional fields.
About the Program
The program consists of 30 credits, all of which must be EPSE courses offered at the 300-400 level. One required course, EPSE 312 or 317, must be completed. If either of these courses has been completed prior to the Diploma, it will be replaced with a different EPSE course. Substitutions for either course may be approved if the student has previously completed it in another university program.

- EPSE 421 must be taken to obtain Level B Testing qualification.

- A 4-year, 120-credit UBC bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required for admission.
