Program Details
- Professional Development Program (PDP): The PDP is a 16-month program that provides students with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become effective educators. The program includes four full-time terms that combine professional coursework, multiple field experiences, and a teaching practicum.
- Term 1: EDUC 400 - Foundations of Education & Schooling (15 units)
- Term 2: EDUC 401/402 - Integration of Theory & Practice (15 units)
- Term 3: EDUC 404 - Professional Coursework (15 units)
- Term 4: EDUC 405 - Teaching Practicum (15 units)
- French Module: The French Module is a program designed for students who want to teach in French Immersion or Core French. The program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become effective educators in French-language classrooms.
- International Teacher Education Module (ITEM): The ITEM is a program designed for students who want to teach internationally. The program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become effective educators in international contexts.
