Overview of the Software Systems Program

The Software Systems program is offered through the Faculty of Applied Science, School of Computing Science, at Simon Fraser University. This program focuses on developing software for everyday applications, ranging from cell phones to security systems and financial analysis. Students gain practical education in the software development life cycle, taking projects from conception to delivery, and are well-prepared for employment, thanks in part to paid co-op work experience.
