Admission Requirements
Admission to the Faculty of Education programs requires a bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University or its equivalent with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.33 (B), or a grade point average of at least 3.33/4.33 (B+) based on the last 60 units of undergraduate/graduate courses.
Tuition and Fees
The tuition fee for the 2025/26 academic year is $2,149.58 per term, subject to an estimated 2% fee increase each September. Additional fees include the Student Services fee, the graduate student activity fee, the U-Pass BC fee, and the mandatory supplementary course fee.

Financial Resources
The Faculty of Education offers various forms of financial assistance, including SFU Graduate Studies Awards and Funding, SFU Financial Aid, and the SFU Work Study Program. Indigenous Education
The Faculty of Education is committed to Indigenous education and offers a range of programs and services to support Indigenous students. These include the Indigenous Education and Reconciliation Council (IERC), the Supporting Aboriginal Graduate Enhancements (SAGE) program, and the Indigenous Education - Events and Resources office.
Community Engagement
The Faculty of Education is committed to community engagement and offers a range of programs and services to support community-based learning and research. These include the Professional Learning Series, the SFU Surrey Community Counselling program, and the SFU-Cmolik Grant Program.
