The SFU Beedie School of Business offers a range of programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
Undergraduate Programs

Orientation
The GDBA program includes a 14-day virtual orientation, designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the program and its requirements. The orientation includes a range of activities, such as:
- Connecting with faculty and fellow students
- Mastering the online learning platform and university resources
- Completing practical exercises to develop technical confidence
- Creating a personalized study roadmap aligned with professional ambitions and potential MBA pathway
Schedule
The GDBA program is designed to accommodate individuals working Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT. The program includes a range of scheduling options, including:
- Start the program in January, May, or September
- Schedule lectures, exams, and assignments to accommodate individual schedules
- Move through the modules at the same rate, meeting the same dates for individual and team assignments
MBA Transferable Course Credits
The GDBA program includes a range of transferable course credits, including:
- Up to three years after completion, GDBA courses are transferable to any of the MBA programs
- Students must achieve a grade of at least 3.0 GPA (B) for the course to be transferred to the MBA
- University policy specifies that no more than 50% of a program's credit requirements may be waived

The GDBA program includes a range of class profiles, including:
- Spring 2024 cohort: 53 students, with an average of 9 years of work experience and 4 years of management experience
- Summer 2024 cohort: 46 students, with an average of 14 years of work experience and 4 years of management experience
