The MGMT230 course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of economic theory, focusing on fundamental microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts. Course Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to:


  • Define fundamental microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts
  • Apply microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts to explain economic events
  • Apply supply and demand principles to guide personal and social economic decisions
  • Analyze the effects of various government policies on critical issues
  • Analyze how monetary and fiscal policies affect interest rates and aggregate demand
  • Identify the contributions and limitations of economic theories in solving current economic problems
