The MGMT230 course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of economic theory, focusing on fundamental microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts. This 12-week online course covers key aspects of economics, including consumer behavior, production and costs, market structure, firm behavior, and government policies.

Course Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to:

• Define fundamental microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts
• Apply microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts to explain economic events
• Apply supply and demand principles to guide personal and social economic decisions
• Analyze the effects of various government policies on critical issues
• Analyze how monetary and fiscal policies affect interest rates and aggregate demand
• Identify the contributions and limitations of economic theories in solving current economic problems
