Overview

The Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is a three-year, full-time program that explores the processes that take place in the human body, both in sickness and in health.

Curriculum

The program delves into the details of how the body converts food into energy, the workings of the immune system when someone falls ill, and the research methods for developing new treatments for diseases like cancer.

Future

For enrolment in the academic year, the numerus fixus will no longer apply, and the language of the programme will change from English to Dutch.
