Program Overview


Health Sciences Master's Programme

The Health Sciences Master's programme is designed to equip students with the skills needed to analyse complex health or healthcare issues. The programme enables students to contribute to the development and implementation of interventions that solve major health problems.


Programme Overview

The programme is offered in English for the academic year, but from the next academic year onwards, it will be taught in Dutch. The programme has five specialisations, which will be replaced by three tracks in the new curriculum.


Specialisations

  • Health Policy
    • Focuses on the development and implementation of health policies
  • Infectious Disease & Public Health
    • Examines the causes and consequences of infectious diseases and their impact on public health
  • International Public Health
    • Explores the global health challenges and the role of international organisations in addressing them
  • Nutrition & Health
    • Investigates the relationship between nutrition and health, including the prevention and management of chronic diseases
  • Prevention & Public Health
    • Emphasises the importance of prevention and public health in promoting health and well-being

Note
