Program Overview

The Bachelor of Medicine programme at the Faculty of Medicine VU is a three-year programme, offered in Dutch. After completing the bachelor's programme, students can proceed to the Doctor of Medicine phase (the Master's).

Programme Details

• The programme is mainly offered in Dutch.
• Non-Dutch students must meet the language requirement: C1 Dutch to be eligible for the Bachelor's and Master's programme.
• During the first semester (September-January) of the third year, an English-taught minor (elective) of 24/30 ECTS is offered.
• This minor is also open to foreign exchange students.

Bachelor's Programme

The Bachelor of Medicine is a three-year programme.
