Marketing Programme Overview
The Marketing programme at VU Amsterdam is designed to equip students with highly sought-after skills in building and managing brands, designing and optimizing customer journeys, and utilizing customer analytics and big data. Upon completion of the programme, students will have developed a deep understanding of the digital landscape and be prepared to apply their skills to promote consumer well-being and respond strategically to societal needs.
Curriculum
The programme curriculum includes working on real-life business cases presented by professionals in the field, allowing students to gain practical experience and apply theoretical knowledge.
Future Career Prospects
After finishing the programme, many alumni work for large organizations, such as ABN AMRO Bank N.V., ING Group, PostNL, Henkel, and FrieslandCampina, in management positions ranging from management traineeships to brand, account, process, product, project, and general management. Others have started their own companies, while some have pursued careers in consulting, including roles such as data analyst, intelligence manager, research consultant, and sales & marketing analyst.
