Language Course Dutch towards B2 (day)

Introduction

The Language Course Dutch towards B2 (day) is designed for participants of the onderwijs (education) route of the Language and Preparatory Program (Taalschakeltraject) Amsterdam and the B1 route. This course is also open to international students, civic integration, and expats.

Curriculum

The daytime group course Dutch for the NT2 State Exam II aims to teach Dutch up to B2 level in one calendar year. The course covers various topics, including understanding difficult texts, writing texts on a variety of topics, speaking Dutch fluently and correctly, expressing opinions, and participating in discussions.

Result

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to understand difficult texts, write their own texts on a variety of topics, speak Dutch fluently and correctly, express their opinions, and participate in discussions.

Course Modules

The course consists of four or five modules, each lasting nine weeks. Participants can start four times per year. After completing the modules, participants will be ready to take the NT2 State Exam II.

  • Module 3: Reading and writing skills
  • Module 4: Speaking and listening skills
  • Module 5: Preparation for the NT2 State Exam II

State Exam NT2 Programma II

The State Exam NT2 II is required for those who want to work or study at higher educated levels, such as universities or universities of applied sciences.

DUO Loan

Candidates for civic integration can apply to DUO for a Dutch government loan to pay for the course.
