Alumni Profiles

The program has produced successful alumni who have gone on to work in various fields, including:

• Alice: Started her career in social work but switched to anthropology at the VU, where she developed a passion for policy and later pursued a specialization in Bestuurskunde.
• Roos: Was drawn to the freedom to explore different worlds and ways of thinking in the anthropology program at the VU, and later pursued a master's in Visuele Antropologie, combining research with film production.

Further Education

Students who complete the Culturele Antropologie en Ontwikkelingssociologie program can pursue further education in various fields, including:

• Master's programs in social sciences, such as Beleid Communicatie en Organisatie, Bestuurskunde, Communicatiewetenschap, Culture, Organisation and Management, Political Science, Sociologie, and Educatie in de Mens– en Maatschappijwetenschappen
