Senior Kwalificatie Examinering (SKE-IO)

The Senior Kwalificatie Examinering (SKE-IO) is a program designed for professionals in higher education.

Introduction

The SKE-IO program is a comprehensive training course that focuses on developing expertise in examination and assessment.

Program Structure

The program consists of six plenary sessions, two intermediate feedback/feedforward discussions, and a final oral assessment.

• The program is led by two experienced trainers from the VU Centre for Teaching & Learning.
• Participants work on an individual project or evaluate previously developed products from the perspective of the SKE, which can be included in their portfolio.
• The program concludes with an oral assessment based on a portfolio, demonstrating the possession of SKE qualities.

Outcome

Upon successful completion of the program, participants are awarded the SKE certificate by the Certification Committee for Teacher Professionalization at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
