Program Overview


Introduction to the Spanish Culture Course

The Spanish Culture course, titled "Barcelona, creative and cultural city," is a 90-hour program designed to introduce students to the various creative areas that the city of Barcelona has to offer. This course aims to provide an understanding of the different environments in which the city has stood out over the years, showcasing its ability to reinvent itself.


Course Objectives and Methodology

The main objective of this course is to give students an idea of the different creative areas that Barcelona has to offer, focusing on its pioneering role in design, publishing, gastronomy, and sports. The course methodology includes Power Point presentations, readings, and visits that students will have to study and prepare. Active participation of the students is expected, with the teacher clarifying contents and guiding discussions.

  • Sports as a creative industry, focusing on the Olympic Games and Futbol Club Barcelona
  • Barcelona at the forefront of tourism, from leisure to business tourism
