Màster en Teràpia Assistida amb Gossos i Gats

Presentació

The Master's in Therapy Assisted with Dogs and Cats is a program designed to provide comprehensive training in the field of animal-assisted therapy. The program is organized by the Racó de Milu, EDUVIC Escola Itinere, and the Institute of Continuing Education of the University of Barcelona.

Objectives

The program aims to:

• Provide students with a deep understanding of the biological and psychosocial bases of animal-assisted therapy
• Equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to design and develop animal-assisted therapy programs
• Foster research and the production of scientific literature related to animal-assisted therapy

The program consists of 9 modules, including:

1. Fonaments de les Intervencions Assistides amb Gossos i Bases de l'Ensinistrament Caní (Foundations of Dog-Assisted Interventions and Canine Training Basics)
2. Animal de teràpia i tècniques d'ensinistrament (Therapy Animal and Training Techniques)
3. IAP en els diferents àmbits d'intervenció i característiques del gos d'acompanyament terapèutic (Animal-Assisted Interventions in Different Fields and Characteristics of Therapy Dogs)
4. Disseny de programes d'IAP i habilitats del gos d'acompanyament terapèutic (Designing Animal-Assisted Intervention Programs and Skills of Therapy Dogs)
5. Treball practico-experiencial en IAP (Practical-Experiential Work in Animal-Assisted Interventions)
6. Teràpia Assistida amb Gats i Altres Espècies i Habilitats Avançades (Therapy Assisted with Cats and Other Species and Advanced Skills)
7. Treball practico-experiencial II i Modificació de Conducta Canina (Practical-Experiential Work II and Canine Behavior Modification)
8. Treball practico-experiencial III i Modificació de Conducta Canina II (Practical-Experiential Work III and Canine Behavior Modification II)
9. Projecte final de Màster (Master's Final Project)
