The Master's in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy: In-Depth Study, Development, and Psychotherapeutic Practice is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the psychological development of children and adolescents. The program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and techniques to diagnose and treat various psychological disorders and difficulties in children and adolescents.

Program Structure

The program is structured around three main axes:

1. Theoretical foundations: The program provides a thorough understanding of the theoretical foundations of child and adolescent psychotherapy, including the development of the human psyche, psychopathology, and psychotherapeutic techniques.
2. Clinical practice: The program includes clinical practice and supervision, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating children and adolescents.
3. Research and specialization: The program offers opportunities for research and specialization in specific areas of child and adolescent psychotherapy.

Program Content

The program covers a wide range of topics, including:

• Child development: The program explores the psychological development of children, including cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Psychopathology: The program covers various psychological disorders and difficulties in children and adolescents, including anxiety, depression, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
• Psychotherapeutic techniques: The program teaches students various psychotherapeutic techniques, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
• Assessment and diagnosis: The program provides students with the skills to assess and diagnose psychological disorders in children and adolescents.
• Treatment planning: The program teaches students how to develop effective treatment plans for children and adolescents.
