Introduction

The Master's in Prevention and Health Promotion is a specialized program designed for professionals in the health, education, and social fields. The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to promote health and prevent diseases in various settings.

Objectives

• Identify the characteristics, models, strategies, and policies of health education and promotion.
• Identify the aspects of sustainable development that contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities.
• Evaluate the determinants of health related to social, living conditions, and environmental factors.
• Understand the educational aspects of promoting healthy lifestyles in different stages of the life cycle.
• Comprehend the participation of citizens in health education and promotion as an aspect that increases empowerment and community commitment.
• Know the methodology of health education and literacy.
• Understand environmental education as associated with the health of individuals and communities.
• Know the information and communication technologies applied to learning for health.
• Acquire cognitive and procedural skills for the practice of health education.

5. Strategies for Learning
   • Learning spaces I
   • Learning spaces II
   • Communicative skills for health education
   • Ludic activities applied to health education
6. Final Master's Project (TFM)
   • Development of a research, innovation, or service-learning project related to health education or promotion.

Faculty
