Program Overview
Màster Internacional en Bim Management
The Màster Internacional en Bim Management prepares participants to lead the paradigm shift that BIM will bring to the construction sector over the next 10 years. Our program addresses the management of the latest technologies applied to building, from the planning and design phase to construction, taking into account its subsequent connection to building maintenance. Additionally, professionals will learn to implement the BIM methodology in organizations and manage all processes, teams, and workflows involved.
Objectives
- Introduce students to the Building Information Modelling (BIM) ecosystem, a methodology applied to the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sector.
- Know and master the main BIM applications, understand and implement new workflows, practices, and information flows in the field of building projects, and provide practical experience through relevant exercises and case studies.
Three Reasons to Choose This Program
- BIM Manager Profile: This new architectural profile is destined to shape the present and future of the construction sector. To access a large number of opportunities in a competitive sector like AEC and optimize project resources, it is essential to stay professionally updated.
- Complete Life Cycle Based on OpenBIM: Open BIM, as a universal approach to collaborative design, realization, and operation of buildings based on open standards and workflows, becomes the most sustainable path from the information management perspective of building assets throughout the building's life cycle. Students will develop and coordinate BIM projects from the beginning to asset management while learning to transfer data between different stages and structure it to be useful to other stakeholders in the future.
- Global Collaboration and Real Cloud Workflows: Due to the great variety of countries involved in the program and the different cultural contexts, the Master provides a perfect framework for developing real global collaboration, in which cloud-digital workflows become the primary communication tool and will pave the way for project success.

Target Audience
- Professionals in the fields of architecture, civil engineering, and industrial engineering.
- Professionals implementing new applications in the field of sustainable cities (from telecommunications and computer engineering).
- Members of the public administration working in urban planning, management, and economy departments, and other professionals and future entrepreneurs.
Professional Outcomes
Each day, the number of companies investing resources in BIM implementation increases, and there are few professionals capable of meeting this demand on an international scale. These professionals are highly sought after and valued.
The BIM methodology is based on the virtual model and information management throughout the project life cycle, which requires architects, engineers, constructors, promoters, financiers, asset managers, facility managers, etc., to know what BIM tools are and how to manage them for their respective responsibilities.
The person responsible for the implementation and management of collaborative teams under this work methodology, whether in an architecture office, construction company, engineering firm, promoter, material manufacturing company, or public administration, is the BIM Manager.
