Objectives

The primary objectives of the program are to:

• Formar-se en el disseny, el càlcul i la coordinació de les diverses disciplines (prioritàriament, les instal·lacions) que intervenen en l'edificació, des d'un punt de vista professional i pràctic, i en l'aplicació de solucions tant en l'obra nova com en la rehabilitació.
• Enfocar-se cap a l'eficiència energètica i la sostenibilitat.

Target Audience

The program is designed for professionals in the construction sector who hold a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, and have more than five years of experience in the sector. The program is also suitable for those who wish to specialize in the calculation, design, and modeling of installations for building construction using BIM methodology.

Career Outcomes

Upon completing the program, graduates will be able to:

• Form part of the specialists capable of coordinating the different disciplines (prioritizing installations) that intervene in building construction, from a professional and practical point of view, applying solutions in both new and rehabilitation work, taking into account energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Correctly manage all the necessary information for the calculation, coordination, and direction of all installations in a building construction project, in a safe and efficient manner.

Faculty

The program is directed by Sr. Diego Besada, a specialist in installations and energy efficiency, with expertise in BIM project interoperability. The faculty includes professionals with extensive experience in the field, ensuring that students receive practical and relevant training.

The program is accredited by the Institut de Formació Contínua de la Universitat de Barcelona (IL3-UB) and Zigurat Global Institute of Technology. The program is equivalent to 60 ECTS credits and is designed according to the guidelines of the European Higher Education Area.
