The Master in Complex Systems in Sports is a pioneering program that aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of complex systems and their applications in sports. The program is designed to promote a change in perspective, enabling students to comprehend phenomena based on the properties of complex systems.

Objectives

• Conèixer les propietats dels sistemes complexos i les seves aplicacions.
• Elaborar un projecte fi de màster basat en un tema d'interès propi.
• Entendre els conceptes i principis generals de la Teoria de Sistemes Dinàmics (TSD).
• Identificar els processos d'adaptació i canvi en contextos com la salut, el rendiment en esports individuals i col·lectius, així com en l'educació.
• Aplicar els conceptes i principis de la TSD a fenòmens relacionats amb l'esport que s'estudien de forma fragmentada en diferents disciplines com la psicologia, la fisiologia o la sociologia.
• Integrar i transferir coneixement a fenòmens no relacionats directament amb l'esport a partir de plantejaments transdisciplinars.
• Debatre sobre supòsits teòrics i metodològics tradicionals que encara són presents en les ciències de l'esport i que es caracteritzen per ser excessivament simplistes i reduccionistes.
• Compartir material teòric (articles, llibres, etc.) i metodològic (tècniques d'anàlisis de dades, tecnologia, etc.) útils per a comprendre i capturar les propietats dels sistemes complexos.
• Percebre noves possibilitats d'acció a nivell personal i professional.
• Intervenir de forma més eficaç en la pràctica professional.
• Adquirir/desenvolupar una mirada crítica en relació amb els diferents fenòmens relacionats i no relacionats directament amb les ciències de l'esport.

• Graduates or licensed professionals in Sports Science who work in any sports-related field.
• Professionals with a degree related to sports, health, management, or education, such as coaches, trainers, physicians, physiologists, psychologists, and sociologists.
• Artists, choreographers, and professionals working in sports, health, education, or management who want to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex systems.
