Introduction to the Course

The course "Comprender y escribir en español" is designed to help students acquire strategies for interpreting and constructing written texts of different types and genres, with an emphasis on comprehension, planning, writing, and revision.


Methodology

The course methodology involves observing and analyzing a specific model of text in each session, preparing the elaboration of a similar text, and conducting activities such as reading and analyzing written texts, planning, developing, and organizing ideas. Special attention is given to the use of connectors and the distribution of content in paragraphs.

The evaluation system consists of:


  • Attendance and participation in class: 20%
  • Textual products (re)elaborated during the course: 50%
  • Final exam/text: 30%
