Landscape Architecture (LAND) Program

The Landscape Architecture (LAND) program at the University of Colorado Boulder offers a comprehensive education in the field of landscape architecture.   • LAND 3100: Studio 2: Intermediate Landscape Architecture: This studio advances the understanding of the practice of landscape architecture, focusing on concepts such as community engagement and client-based projects, and covering topics such as health-focused spaces, ecological adaptability, green equity, and gentrification.
  • LAND 3103: Ecological Planting Design: This course introduces species identification, planting design concepts, and design tools and methods, framing the course in local ecological systems and building a robust plant palette applicable to Colorado and the American West.

Requirements

  • Restricted to majors in Environmental Design (ARCH, EPOD, LAND, PLAN) and open option (ENVD)
